Everyone will know you as My followers if you demonstrate your love to others.
John 13:35

There are those who seek knowledge for the sake of knowledge. That is curiosity.
There are those who seek knowledge to be known by others. That is vanity.
There are those who seek knowledge in order to serve – That is love.
Bernard of Clairvaux

You either walk inside your story and own it or you stand outside your story and hustle for your worthiness.
Brene Brown

Teaching and Learning Philosophy:
I believe that teaching and learning is dynamic, collaborative, and multi-method. The student teacher relationship is symbiotic, each learning from the other, and characterized by respect and mutuality. As a teacher, I view my role as one of an informed guide, rather than an all knowing expert. Furthermore, teaching and learning does not occur only through formal education. Instead, we learn as we interact and engage our environments. As such, I strive to create learning environments that are dynamic, diverse, and engaging – relying upon a variety of teaching techniques and modalities.

My philosophy of education is based upon these premises: a) my purpose is to serve God and to actively exemplify His love and justice in the world and b) Christian higher education institutions are uniquely positioned to prepare graduates, personally and professionally, in the pursuit of love and justice.
